Howdy, team.
As a couple of you may know, I've been trying to learn how to vector to lend a hand to Luse and other artists.
My first attempt at doing a vector was, frankly, shameful. This was just me picking up the Bezier tool and going nuts. No understanding of how to use layers, or how to alter stroke thickness or colour.
Since then I've been going through every tutorial I could find, and learning more about the editing process.
With that in mind, here was my second attempt at producing a full vector, based off of the image Luse posted a week or so ago.
I'd love to get some feedback on how they look, and any areas in which I need to improve. (I'm not really happy with the Doctor's eyes)

It is a really great start and it is only really the eyes that need a lot of work. Try havinging a look at this tutorial: Eye tutorialThere are loads of great tutorials on Deviantart but it looks like you have a good grasp on things already. The only thing you need to learn about are power strokes. This is a good tutorial: Power strokes but you are better off with Youtube videos really - I would recomend some but I can't watch them at the moment to advise what would be best.

Finished up on another piece of practice, this time focusing on inserting taper into stroke lines, and fixing up the eye design. The tutorial was very useful. Soarin' was not pleased to be used in my experiments.
