I like the new character. She's a great replacement for Echo, and I completely agree eith the reasons for making the switch.
One questiong, though: Will the personality be the same between the two, or will High Pitch be any different from what Echo was?
Please answer if you can. It's just little something g that's been ticking at me.

High Pitch will have the same personality that was intended for Echo. In summery she is very happy and optimistic pony, always looking to see the bright side of a situation or 'person' (except Six, she always assumes the worst from him). She is also very energetic and loves to party or, when there is need for it, fight. Her love for fruit is still very much there however due to her habit of gorging herself (which results in a short sugar rush before a long coma-ish colapse) she tries to limit herself to fruits she can't eat much of, like lemons due to their sourness (she still loves them), or fruit with very low sugar content, like melons. The one fruit she loves the most, but is also banned from having, are zap apples - she goes completely bonkers after just one Zap apple (and don't get me started on Zap apple jam with all that extra sugar). It is for this reason...and a certain incident that Pitch would rather forget, that she is banned from going any where near Applejack's farm. Pitch is often used as a shortened name for her though her close friends also call her Hype (A condensing of 'High' and 'Pitch' while also her normal mood when she is around friends, such as Vinal Scratch, partying.) Lastly, her Cutie Mark is that of a shattered, circular, piece of glass due to her effective high pitch screech as well as her enjoyment of braking things.
