Hello there, both old and new! Once upon a time, in the magical, primordial land of Torchwood: Equestria, there were two forms of communication that ruled together, bringing harmony to the entire project. To do this, the youngest, Google Hangouts, used its magical internet powers to give live chat, and Envision a database of wondrous information. Thus, the two maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types of bronies. But as time went on, the older became resentful. The bronies relished and played in the Hangouts Google brought forth, but shunned and abandoned its beautiful forums. One fateful day, Envision refused give in and make room for Google Chrome, (also, Captain Jack lost his admin password). The younger Google tried to reason with it, but the bitterness in the elder one's heart had transformed it into a wicked land of contempt.
However, with some persuasion from the Elements of Password Recovery, the forums are back and as beautiful as ever (save for the banner which needs some work). However, I figure they'll be a good way for those who either can't/are too shy/not on at the right time to do Google Hangouts stuff to communicate, as well as work as a database for project information and a way for our peops to show off talent and such. It'll also allow more ongoing, centralized conversations without the clutter of Google Hangouts. Basically, I'm hoping they'll help promote some more team bonding, cooperation, world building, and everything in-between. Naturally, we'll still use Google Hangouts, but I hope that these forums will help instill some of the excitement for the project seen in the early days.
You don't have to participate on them nor even sign up. However, it'd be a good idea to glance at them from time to time to see the progress of the project, artwork for it, ext. ext. ext., as well as be aware of any minor updates or voicing opportunities that wouldn't warrant an email sent. Basically, be civil, be yourself, and have fun!
